Questions
Everything guests ask before booking
- Is there a minimum stay?
- No. A single night is welcome, and so is a fortnight. Each room and cottage sleeps two people in total, children included, and the booking form will show you the full price for your dates before you commit.
- What is included in the rate?
- Breakfast every morning, all housekeeping, the beach set-up with loungers, umbrella and towels, drinking water, Wi-Fi and parking inside the gate. Lunch, dinner, drinks, spa treatments and boat trips are extra.
- How do we actually get there?
- By road. We are at Mopo-Akinlade in Okun-Ajah, past Abraham Adesanya off the Lekki-Epe Expressway, about forty-five minutes from Victoria Island. Send us your arrival time when you book and we will send the pin, meet you at the gate and park your car inside.
- Can we bring children?
- Yes, in Signature Seaview and Ash Bubble, which are built for it. Mini Suite, Superior Room and White Bubbly sleep two or three and are better for couples. We do not recommend the Lighthouse Loft for young children; the balcony railing is low and the stairs are external.
- Is the beach private?
- The stretch in front of the property is ours and quiet. The wider Okun-Ajah beach is shared and gets busy on Saturday afternoons, which is either a drawback or a reason to walk down and look at it, depending on the person.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Free cancellation up to fourteen days before check-in, with a full refund. Between fourteen and seven days, we hold fifty per cent as credit valid for a year. Inside seven days the booking is non-refundable, though we will always try to move you rather than lose you. Peak season bookings from 15 December to 8 January require thirty days' notice.
- Can we book the whole property?
- Yes, and people do for birthdays, small weddings and company retreats of up to twenty-two guests. Call us on +234 701 258 5365 or send an email to stay@timelesshaven.com and we'll put a proper proposal together.
- Is there power and network?
- Yes to both, and reliably. Solar with battery backup carries the cottages through the night, and a generator covers the rest. Wi-Fi is fast enough for calls in every room and cottage. Mobile coverage is also good.
